FATHER AND SON DAVID AND MATT BURKE WIN AT TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND ONE QUALIFIER AT CANIA

ROUND ONE X-FACTOR BASS FISHING TEAM AUSTRALIAN  CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS.

What a weekend  a good number of teams turned up to qualify for the December Grand final of the Australian bass fishing championship  . The weekend was wild and woolly ,rain ,wind, rain ,wind both days. Anglers did very well in the conditions. The dam fished tough and the battle was a good one. On both days teams fought the weather and the fact that the bass in Cania dam were not going to make it easy for anyone. Only two teams caught fish in prize section group .

Congratulations to  David and Matt Burke  of Toowoomba Tam Bass Wranglers  they  won the cash section and caught the biggest bass bag for the Sunday and the weekend of 863 mm . This won them a $1,000 cash and they also won the biggest bass pool of $380 and took home two Eva Kool  ice boxes and two sets of Trevor's Leathers leather key rings. Runner up in the cash section was  Team Smak , Mathew Mott and Terry Allwood of Murgon , they won $600 cash . In Prize section Barry Reynolds and Chris O'Neil of Nambour, Team Suzuki  had a bag score of 689mm and won the Eva Kool ice boxes prize. Runner up was Cindy Schloss and Russell Nowland ,team Bass Nuts they won the Shimano Rods prizes.

  3. Team Sac    $400 cash ( Zac Smith and James Marcek)
  4. Team JML/ACM Hand crafted fishing rods $225 cash (Brett Renz and Jordon Renz )
  5. Team Quitchabitchin $ 150 cash ( Rob and Shara  VanHaeren)
